Cain Bonham is as big and bad as they come. After serving in the Marines, he’s returned home to Wyoming and now works as head of security at the exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse. His job is to protect not only the patrons, but to zealously guard the secret existence of the club itself.

Sloane Preston is all about discovering secrets. As an undercover reporter, she’s determined to reveal the truth behind the facade of The Wicked Horse and expose it for all the world to see. She just didn’t count on her pathway into the club coming at the hands of one gorgeously scarred and bad ass bouncer who manages to easily possess her body and soul.

While Cain’s not looking for anyone to catch his eye, Sloane did it all the same, and he’s not bemoaning the fact that she’s as wickedly kinky as he is. As both get caught up in the sinful fantasies that only The Wicked Horse can create, secrets and loyalties will be tested and hearts will risk being broken.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

From CEO’s to ranchers, to cowboys, and military men, to sex clubs and fantasy cabins –  Wicked Horse Series has it all! And these are just a few of the great elements in this intriguing series. At first, I  expected to feel overwhelmed but Sawyer Bennett certainly integrated each of the components into the story flawlessly.

“Wicked Lust” features Cain Bonham, the head of security at Wicked Horse. In his type of work he has to remain  vigilant, sharp and have a keen eye on every situation. Cain certainly possesses said qualities yet as soon as Sloane Preston appears in his line of sight his good judge of character  gets thrown out the window. He notices immediately that Sloane is attempting to catch his attention what he doesn’t know however is that she has a hidden agenda.

You see, Sloane is being coerced into doing an expose on the club. She assumes that her best bet in getting it is through Cain. Seduction was key but as she spends time getting to know him (and his friends) she can’t help but feel a deeper connection  especially considering he is committed to making all of her wants, needs and fantasies come true. Her loyalties are tested to the limit and what was great about it was you couldn’t tell which path she would take.

To say that the decisions  she needed to make were difficult – is an understatement. What was impressive though was even with all the amazing sexing she was receiving she  still managed to keep it together and  handle the situation appropriately. I certainly appreciated that she had it within her to seek help when she knew she needed it. This is return showed us just how deep the friendships between the characters were which is another thing that will keep me coming back for more.

I thought the pacing and storyline were terrific. The romance and passion between the couple was spot-on. And of course, I won’t neglect to mention the fantasies…OMG! HOT HOT HOT! It will definitely have you contemplating your very own.  I personally loved this series thus far and I am  looking forward to reading more about these characters that have made such a lasting impression.
