Sixty books later and I am constantly amazed how the series gets better and better. Reading the newest addition to Eve and Roarke’s story is like experiencing a reunion. I personally love coming back to these characters every year.
Speaking of reunions, this is what Bonded in Death was. A meeting of great minds set in Summerset’s past. Despite his character being well known to the series there isn’t much we know about him but this story defies all that and then some. We know exactly who he and his wife was and what role they played before Summerset became Roarke’s guardian.
I love how the relationships played out especially between Eve and Summerset. They have this animosity towards each other in the previous books but as it is portrayed, it seems that their bickering is their love language so to speak.
Again, I enjoyed how all the characters even the minor ones come out to play in this futuristic, murder mystery. I immensely enjoyed this one and if you are a Eve Dallas fan, I am sure you will too.
