Have you ever read a book where you didn’t want it to ever end? Where you feel so deeply in love with the characters and their story that you felt so connected to it, to them? Well, this is that book for me. I loved it from the very start.
When nine-year-old Dash saves Amelia’s life when she was six you just knew that fate had a hand in them meeting. We follow them past that young age, watching their lives further intertwine but everything changes when Dash moves away to college.
What kept me so enraptured was his secret – how he couldn’t he just disappear on someone that affected him so much. We wait up until the very end before every detail is revealed which I didn’t mind what bit considering how this beautiful love story played out.
I thought they were great together when they were younger but as they aged and matured, they were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for a better pairing between these two. The chemistry and passion was good but it was the friendship that made them better.
