“Say I’m Yours” is about a woman named Grace who can not get her lifelong boyfriend – Trent to finally commit. You can tell from the very beginning just how much they both love and care for each other but for some reason, Trent is holding back. He refuses to take the final plunge that their close friends have recently made and this is causing years of frustration for Grace.
She has finally had enough and decides to put her foot down and my god how I loved her for that but what got to me was the vacillating. Her mind was made up but she failed miserably at carrying them out. This goes on for the first part of the book which to me was extremely disappointing. It was frustrating enough that I struggled with continuing on but I am glad that I did because the second half of the book was amazing.
I did have my doubts whether the author would able to pull it together but she does so beautifully. The heart that she puts into the last part of the story was definitely what made it worthwhile. I had some issues as mentioned above but overall ” Say I’m Yours” is a great second chance romance.
