I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her.
The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants.
Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.
Damn the company.
Damn our friendship.
Damn my fears.

Q&A Review by Liezel & Angie
Do you think a person can change for someone they really love?
Liezel: I do but I believe it depends on the degree of commitment for one another. In Trey and Kate’s case, it wasn’t the matter of changing per se, his preferences evolved into something different. He matured after meeting the woman of his dreams.
Angie: I do. I think when you love someone that you both change for the better. You want to be the best part of yourself for your spouse or loved one. That’s what love is about. It’s also about accepting someone for their flaws.
What did you think of Kate & Trey? What did you love about them as a couple?
Liezel: I loved both of them. There were literally sparks flying every time they were together yet somehow, someway they were able to keep their distance. The degree of control these two while they were around each other was remarkable. There were periods where I was frustrated with Trey but that definitely added to the angst between the two.
I loved that even before they took that plunge that they developed a terrific professional relationship and a beautiful friendship.
Angie: I love Kate and Trey. They both equally drove me crazy at times and the sexual tension between them was off the charts. I really thought my kindle was going to catch on fire, well hell go up in flames! I loved their witty banter and how they weren’t in a sexual relationship right off the bat. I also loved how they drove each other crazy without really knowing what they were doing. It was such a nice change.
We didn’t read much about them as a couple but what I did it was just natural and easy. The transition from friends to lovers was a no-brainer and long overdue. They complimented each other so much. The perfect fit as one would say.
Is there anything you would change about this story?
Liezel: I wish it was longer! These two were so great together that I didn’t want it to end. As a matter of fact, as soon as I was done I went back and reread chapters here and there because I wasn’t ready to let them go after “The End”.
Angie: Originally I would have said a little bit more sex but when I was completely done reading Love in Lingerie I realized that it was perfect the way it was. I loved how it wasn’t based on sex but more on the sexual tension and friendship of Trey and Kate. Definitely a welcomed change.
Do you have a favorite quote?
Angie: I remember a kiss like that and it’s definitely not one to forget.
When a kiss waits for a thousand days, it erupts like a cyclone—a slow unfurling of lips, of tongues, hands ripping, clothes flying, hot swirls of breath met with a clash of frantic desire.
Would you recommend reading Love In Lingerie?
Liezel: Absolutely! I was just saying to a friend that we need more “slow-burn” stories and Love In Lingerie” completely fits that bill. If you enjoy romances with lots of sexual tension then this book is for you. I personally loved it! This is one of those stories that I wouldn’t mind reading over and over again.
Angie: Like with all of Alessandra’s books, Yes!! Love in Lingerie is nothing less than amazing!
