From his dirty-blond hair and breathtaking smile, to the abs from heaven and the irresistible V in his waistline, everything about Bodi Olympic-gold-medalist Banks screams hot piece of @$$.

Yet there’s more.

Dark shadows lurk behind his soulful, serious eyes.

I’m enamored. He’s captured me.

How can running an art foundation with Bodi Banks turns into a slow-burning, epic romance, even though he tries to push me away at every chance? How can I stay away from a broken, routine-driven man whose soul cries to be forgiven for a crime only he believes he committed? Or is that a lie?

Q & A Review by Liezel & Angie:

How does Stroked Long compare to Stroked? Do you like one more than the other?

Liezel: I absolutely loved Stroked and thought that Stroked Long would have me in tears just like the first book and It did have me in tears but for a different reason altogether. Stoked was ridiculously funny while Stroked Long was completely the opposite – serious and emotional. Did I prefer one over the other? Nope,  both books affected me differently but I enjoyed them both equally.

Angie: Wow! How can I top what Liezel just said? I can’t. She said exactly what I was thinking. Now even though Stroked Long was more serious and emotional it still had it’s funny moments. I mean hello “moose knuckle” and benching penises lmao! Yea it doesn’t get better than that!

What did you think about Ruby? Bodi?

Liezel: I thought both characters were great. Sure Bodi was strange but once I discovered what he went through I completely understood him where he was coming from.

And Ruby? I loved her! She was fun, outgoing and quirky. She was just a ball of sunshine and exactly what Bodi needed in his life.

Angie: I love them! My heart absolutely broke for Bodi when I found out why he’s so closed off and rejoiced when Ruby, an explosion of bright colors, came into his white and gray world. Both of them together were not perfect and I love couples that are easy to relate too. I really want Ruby as my best friend. *Sigh

Did you they make good couple?

Liezel: I couldn’t ask for a better person for Bodi! I loved how Ruby brought him out of his shell and inspired him to become even “more”. The passion and chemistry between these two was fantastic. These two made the perfect couple.

Angie: OMG yes! He needed someone who was funny, eccentric, calming and understanding and Ruby was that and more. I just love them and how they brought out the best and sometimes worse in each other but who is perfect?

Did you have a favorite quote? Which one was it and why?

Liezel: “ I know I was put on this earth to love you…I was brought into your life to help you live, to help you love and to help you show your true colors. To help you be proud of who you are…”

I loved this because against the odds, Ruby was fighting for them and says Bodi is the ONLY ONE for her even if he doesn’t accept it.

Angie: “Sometimes the beauty in the art piece isn’t about the strokes, Bodi. Sometimes it’s about the colors and how you mold them together. It’s really about taking a dark, mysterious color and mixing it with something bright and cheery. It’s the contrast that makes them so beautiful together.”

I love this quote because Ruby knew what she wanted early on and Bodi being a man was a little bit clueless to what she was actually saying. To have someone that connects deeply with your soul in such a short time would be amazing.

Would you recommend this book?

Liezel: It was mentioned that this could be read as a standalone… it can, but believe me, you would want to read both. They are in the same series but completely different stories. One will make you laugh til you cry while the other will have you in tears from all the heavy emotions.

I can’t tell you enough how  impressed I was with how Meghan Quinn was able to manipulate my emotions from opposite sides of the spectrum. Love! Love! Love this series and I am looking forward to seeing what she has up her sleeve for Hollis and Melony.

Angie: I agree with Liezel. Even though this can be read as a standalone, I would still read Stroked. I mean who wants to miss Reese King? We also read some things in here from Stroked and if you haven’t read the first you’ll feel left out. Don’t feel left out.

Every book I read by Meghan I keep falling deeper and deeper in love with her writing, her characters, how she can manipulate my feelings, making me laugh my ass off one moment then the next crying my eyes out. I highly recommend Stroked Long and every book written by Meghan Quinn.

About Meghan Quinn

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
