I don’t even know where to begin with this review! Is it Dark romance? For me, it was more like a Psychological Thriller. Think James Patterson or say… Thomas Harris. Whatever it is, it certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted!
From the title alone you can tell that PSD is about a psychotic man known as Benny who happens to be a doll collector. And when I say “doll” … I don’t mean your typical American Girl doll that you purchase online rather he collects young women. Girls in their teens to be exact. What does he do with them? Take a wild guess… whatever it is that you thought of – multiply it tenfold. Benny is a very sick man.
The only woman that survives to tell the tale is Jade Phillips. She and her sister Macy were abducted twelve years ago. She planned their escape for years and when she finally does she, unfortunately, leaves her sister to her own fate. This is what has been plaguing her for years.
She dedicates her life to finding those that were left behind. Her day to day struggles is what persuaded me to keep reading. And although what happens to her in the past is so twisted and difficult to grasp I just couldn’t stop.
The creativity that Ker Dukey and K. Webster put into this book is absolutely remarkable. This is definitely one of those stories that you aren’t bound to forget. If suspenseful, dark and intriguing stories are your thing? Look no further… I assure you Pretty Stolen Dolls is the book for you.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
