Liezel’s Thoughts:
I absolutely loved Woolf, Cain, Rand and Land’s stories but it’s Bridger’s that I would call my favorite. Of all the guys he stood out the most and I certainly wanted him to get his well-deserved HEA just like the others. The question is….did he find it? Hell yeah!!!
I couldn’t ask for a better person for Bridger. Sure, Maggie had baggage up to here ^^^ but Bridger did too. And while it took them a considerable amount of time to get through their individual issues but once they got there – they were magnificent together. Maggie was exactly what Bridger needed to tear down those walls. I couldn’t ask for a better fit.
Pay attention to Sawyer Bennet’s warning: “this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex”. As she stated it really is different from her previous series and as far as heat goes I would definitely rate it a 5/5. What was fantastic about this though was that the smoldering sex wasn’t the main factor that drove the book rather it was the characters themselves. Sawyer Bennett did a marvelous job balanced everything out with the suspense.
Hell, that sure is one way to end a series… It ended with a big bang, like literally. I loved the background setting and each and every story. I adored the friendships and the relationships even if at times they could be described as “complicated”. It certainly made things more interesting. Haha! I am definitely looking forward to seeing what Sawyer Bennett has in store for us next.
