I don’t even know what I just read or if I should even be saying how much I freaking loved this book! Out of all the War and Peace books, It Isn’t Over, Baby has to be the darkest, most twisted, mind fuck I’ve ever read. I knew it was so wrong but like a train wreck, I couldn’t look away well in this instance put my kindle down.
There was one part that had me saying “OMG!! Kristi! What the hell are you thinking??? This is freaking sick!! You’re so demented. I don’t think I can read this anymore.” I even expressed these words out loud and my hubby asked what I was talking about and he laughed at me.
In true K. Webster style she has a way of making you hate a character so much then before you know it you have compassion and love for them. It’s like Stockholm syndrome and K. Webster is our abductee. That’s how much she fucks with our minds.
As you notice I can’t do a proper review without any spoilers. So here’s a warning instead. Beware of cucumbers, hot as hell sex, and a dark, twisted tale that has you questioning your morals.
