A TRUE STORY told through the voice of New York Times Bestselling author E.K. Blair.

She’s an author.
She’s a mother.
She’s a wife.
She’s a fraud.

A woman marked and bound by her own deceit, this is the astounding tale of how one choice knocked her world from its axis forcing her to battle through a year of scandal and betrayal, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.

This is an intoxicatingly risqué stand-alone true story tangled in lust, heartbreak, and contrition.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

I know….I know….I’ve always said that I was not a fan of books that involve cheating BUT… After listening to all the talk, my curiosity got the best of me and even though I said I wouldn’t read this book I was compelled to do so. Compelling. This certainly is the ONE word that I would use if you asked me to describe this book for various reasons.

One, authors have always been my Rock Stars. I always have been fascinated with the in’s and outs of creating a masterpiece. This book goes into some of it. I can’t even imagine all the pressure…It also gives us a behind the scenes look into author events which I personally attend quite often. I didn’t realize just how much drama could potentially happen!

Which of course brings to my second reason – Tori. I honestly didn’t know what to feel about her or her predicament. I hated her, then felt sorry for her and then felt this overwhelming sympathy. Her decisions were difficult to accept but then I thought…how is one to judge when we’ve never been put in that situation?

E.K. Blair did a splendid job delivering her story which is my third reason I was completely mesmerized. I liked that she stuck with the facts and wasn’t attempting to sway my opinion of Anonymous either way. Tori’s story is such a touchy subject matter. I definitely had my doubts but with the way EK wrote it proved that no matter how controversial a story may be as long as it’s written with finesse it too can be enjoyable.

I do need to mention that Author Anonymous DID NOT conclude as I would have wanted but I’m hoping that there is more to this story. Please? Oh, the anticipation….. Which bring me to say….Thank you Anonymous, for sharing this with us. Your story opened my eyes. In the sense that it made me contemplate about my very own relationship. Even with all the ups and downs, I couldn’t help feel this certain attachment to you. I do wish that whoever you are, that you do find what you are looking for in love and in life.

I do recommend reading this book BUT when you do, go in with an open-mind. Don’t focus on who the story is about. Instead, listen to everything that this person has to say….If you do that then I am sure you will appreciate it as much as I did.
