I’m so glad that this book, this breath of fresh air, is what I came to after some recent books that have left me unsatisfied. I loved Everything I Left Unsaid #1 and 2 and I could not wait to jump back into the world of the characters. This author KNOWS how to write compelling characters that illicit emotions from even this cold heart. This story was just pure magic from beginning to end.
So, if you’ve read the first and second in the series (and if you haven’t, I recommend them. They are fantastic), those center around Dylan and Annie. This book stands alone and you don’t need to really know anything about the first two to read this. However, it will give you so much backstory on the family of Dylan, Max, and his father and Joan/Olivia and her past…a little. At least the past few months. And this is Max’s book.
Max is the president of a motorcycle gang, but left and came back. For this reason, he is on the outs. Joan/Olivia is “undercover” as a stripper trying to find a way to get information on the location of her sister. She is in some strange cult and Joan/Olivia needs to get her out. As we open the book, she is prepared to blow up the strip club, the cult leader, and herself to get that information. Max stops her, but just barely. In the process, Max’s MC brothers catch up with him, a shoot out occurs and she saves his life because he is her link to her sister. And this is how the story unfolds.
The levels of character depth in this story are astounding. I mean, the story line isn’t anything astoundingly new. Books 1 and 2 were something I hadn’t ever read before, but this exact story line didn’t blow me away. What DID was the characters. They were rich and complex. They were twisty and dark. And throughout the story, you were rooting for THEM and them to figure out their demons to be together.
Dylan and Annie make an appearance too. AND I think I know who book 4 will be about and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!
I give this book 4.75 stars. I like it, I love it, I want some more of it. I wished there was more once I reached the end.

One of the best things that I love about blogging with friends is that I have this amazing opportunity of being introduced to so many “new to me authors” that I wouldn’t have otherwise discovered. One of which is Molly O’ Keefe. I was instantaneously hooked after reading the very first book in the “Everything I Left Unsaid” Series and couldn’t wait for more!
“Burn Down The Night” is about how Joan (whom we’ve met in the previous book) is desperate to find her sister Jennifer. She would literally do anything including going on this insane suicide mission just to see her safe again. Caught in the crossfire is the alpha-male, badass, criminal, MC president Max Daniels. He knew back when he first met Joan that she was trouble but he never knew the extent until he awakes handcuffed in a stranger’s bed.
You would think that this would garner him helpless but even incapacitated he still had this bizarre influence over Joan. This was the main reason why this story caught and held my attention… witnessing how two unsuitable characters in multiple accounts make things right. As we learn each of their stories we discover that even though they came from completely different backgrounds that they aren’t so different after all. Needless to say, their pairing is remarkable.
Not only were the characters impressionable but the writing, the plot line and of course the romance was spectacular. I couldn’t get enough! And after finishing this book last night I can say that all of these same fantastic elements extend to this third book.
I enjoyed this book. If you haven’t read anything from this author yet, give “Burn Down The Night”a try. I guarantee you will be hooked just as I am.

Molly O’Keefe has always known she wanted to be a writer (except when she wanted to be a florist or a chef and the brief period of time when she considered being a cowgirl). And once she got her hands on some romances, she knew exactly what she wanted to write.
