The King Always Gets His Way.
Women, business, pleasure: When I want it, I get it.
I’m never denied.
Including her.
I will break her.
I will show her who the king of this city really is.
The Feisty Princess of Manhattan will learn I am not a man that can be tempted.
No matter how fucking bad I want her in my bed.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Naughty King is Live! Live! Live! And it is so Good! Good! Good! My only question is when is the next book in the series coming out? Because I need me some more  Alexander King!

Alexander King is this very attractive, business savvy,  elusive billionaire who always gets what he wants. What he wants is his new sharp, sassy and sexy personal assistant Margo naked before him – badly.  But that maybe proven to be a little too difficult. Not only could he get slapped with a sexual harassment case but he also knows that this very woman who caught his attention is a spy who is out to destroy a very important business transaction.

Margo Buchanan is known as “The Feisty Princess of Manhattan”. She is the daughter of one of Alexander’s business rivals who is out to save her legacy from getting taken away from her. Saving the business  should have been effortless for her but Alexander is a tough challenge. Given his domineering and egotistical ways, she tries her damnest to hate him but in every way she is drawn by this attractive man.

“…know this: I’m going to make your life a living hell while you’re here. I’ll have you dying to fuck my brains out or needing to walk away before you kill me with your own bare hands. Either way – you’re fucked.”

As expected,  Michelle A. Valentine  delivers yet another sweltering, filthy-sexy romance.  And… Oh my friggin’ goodness! I definitely need a tall glass of ice water to cool me down after reading this one!  What was so killer about it was this “I fucking hate you but I need you so desperately” thing that Alexander and Margo had going on. It was  just ridiculous. I can’t remember the  last book that had this much angst between the characters. The chemistry between these two was magnificent.

The only drawback is that “Naughty King”  was waaay too short.  It was so good that I needed so much more. Particularly more character background and definitely more  story. “Naughty King” also ends in a cliffhanger  which some might not appreciate but I have to say that the way this one was left was jaw-droppingly  fantastic.

Even with the cliffhanger I immensely enjoyed this book.  I’m just hoping, begging and pleading that the next book “Feisty Princess”  comes out soon!

The Verdict:
