LILY ROSS was born to be a mother. Her three kids mean everything to her, and she strives to provide them with the best life. She thinks life is perfect, until she catches her husband red-handed in a hot affair with her next door neighbor. Coming to grips that her life is about to change, LILY realizes that she’s stuck, having no job or means to leave. She also knows that he’d never let her take the kids from him, without a fight, in which she’d just lose.

After meeting a very rich and elusive woman, Lily is introduced to a world she never thought she'd be a part of. Out of desperation, she does the unthinkable.

Drastic times call for drastic measures.

Find out what LILY is willing to do in this steamy novella.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

First of all, I want to say that this book cover is  eye-catching – both in a good way and a bad way. My first thought was…shouldn’t the words on her back side say “slutty” instead of “lustly”? But when I finally got deep into the story I came to realize that the cover and title couldn’t be anymore PERFECT.

Lily’s backside is definitely sexy! If this were all real I would have come up to Lily and pat her on the cheek and say ‘”You go girl!” I think you would have done the same   especially when you discovered out that that ass belonged to a presumed 35 something wife and soccer mom that was raising two (plus)  teenagers.

As the story goes, Lily is one devoted  mother and wife. She is one of those dedicated mom’s that put every other mom’s efforts to shame.  Because of her hard work, Lily’s family life was  flawless.  Things  were about to change when she finds another woman on her knees, in front of her husband right in her very own shower.

Of course she went through all the normal reactions any would have gone through but after all that wore off she felt utter desperation. As she was suffering alone in  pain and agony she was also focusing on  coming up with ways to raise her children in the comfortable lifestyle that they used to. She first begins working for  minimum wage but when she realizes that this was not going to cut it she entertains this crazy notion that was presented to her by a random woman that she met by chance – to become an escort.

“…there is no way in hell I’d ever consider being with anyone else if I already had you….”

For her, the mere thought was deplorable. She never could imagine going through with it but with all three of her kids in mind she knew that this was the best way out even if it was just temporary. This is what I loved about Lily she would have done anything for her kids.  With that in mind, she eventually  gives in. What she didn’t anticipate while doing  this though was actually liking it. For the first time  in her life she was opening herself up to sexual exploration.

What she also wasn’t expecting was one single man wanting all of her time – a man that seemed  familiar to Lily. This person tries his damnest to shelter and protect Lily from her questionable choices which I thought  was beyond  admirable. There were frustrating moments and situations that were deceitful and manipulative but  for me they were justifiable given that his primary goal was always to keep her safe.

In many ways this person was exactly what Lily needed and vice versa. I thought their pairing was fantastic – physically, emotionally and intellectually. I found it most impressive that was for a book this short  the author was still able to illustrate to us how well these two fit together.

For a novella, this book was very well written. Who would have ever thought that something horrendous such as cheating would bring out a positive outcome?  For me,  the story flow was smooth and was very much enrapturing. It was one of those books that  I couldn’t  put down. I  read this one while catching some rays  sitting by the pool  and  because of this it will most definitely end up on my list of “Favorite Summer Reads” for this year.

The Verdict:

I think it would be Sweet Lover Girl. I think that would be a good stripper name. Thanks for the give away
