Liezel’s Thoughts:
It hasn’t been THAT long since I’ve read the first three books but I’ve already been missing the characters of Bella Jewel’s MC Sinners. What better way to re-acquaint myself than reading the Christmas novella that features Janine and Muff. Yeah I know it’s a little too late for something Christmas-y but I just couldn’t help myself.
I enjoyed Muff’s character in the previous books and thought it was time he got his own happy ending. Did he get it in this novella? He sure enough did. He found it with Janine. If you remember in the Knights’ Sinner she had a rough past too. She was married to an abusive monster – Hogan. Even after he’s long gone he still is causing problems in Janine’s life. She doesn’t deserve this! Muff realizes this and takes things under control. The entire club backs him up and they get things done MC Sinners way.
“When are you going’ to realize that you’re my everything, Jaybird? I won’t rest until I know that you’re safe. That’s what you do when someone is your everything.”
Like the other books, this one isn’t focused on violence and action. It is focused on love, romance and of course the family. I loved that even if this was centered on Brian and J, we also catch a glimpse of all the other couples in the series. I love that it was also funny and playful.
For a novella I thought the author did an amazing job delivering a well balanced story. Enjoyed this one and I am sure that you are a MC sinner fan you would too.
