Male escort.
That got your attention.
Some of the most powerful and well known women in the country pay to have sex with me, some of them married. Some are into more than just straight sex, which is why they call me. Bondage, power play, submission…nothing is off the table. I will do anything for the right price.
The stories I could tell you about a certain high profile congresswoman, or that innocent blonde actress. Trust me, she’s not so innocent.
Guys would kill for my job. I’m living the fucking dream. Meaningless sex, no relationship hang-ups and I’m rolling in the dough. Life is perfect, just the way it is.
Until I meet her.
She changes everything.
She makes me want more than I’ve ever wanted for myself and she believes in me. But she also thinks I sell insurance. I can’t stop what I do, but I can’t give her up.
Eventually, my two worlds are going to collide and when they do, shit will hit the fan.
Liezel’s Thoughts:
Reading the synopsis of this book left me intrigued. Of course I wanted to get into the head of a male escort, who wouldn’t? After reading this one I would have to say that is undoubtedly HOT. There is this one component especially that involves a married couple that caught my attention the most.
That isn’t the only thing that I personally look for in a story though. There are some aspects of this book that just didn’t work for me. I struggled to like Liam Cooper who was the main focus of the story. He says he chose this profession so he could get his mother the treatment that she needed – which in my opinion is quite admirable.
But my issue is did he have to keep doing it? He obviously had enough saved where he could have resorted to something else. (Yeah, call me crazy but I did compute his possible earning in that 8 year period. Haha!) His sister’s family was well to do as well, couldn’t he have asked her to contribute to caring for their mother? For me that wasn’t a good enough reason to stay in his line of work.
Another thing was his relationship with Mia. Given their history together, I thought that they were spectacular together but for me it felt like he was being deceptive. I thought she needed to know what his profession entailed before they got into a physical relationship. He did use protection with his clientele but that doesn’t cover everything. In my opinion, she had the right to know the risks she was taking before anything happened. This was another thing that made me question Coop’s character . If he really loved her shouldn’t have been honest with her from the get go?
I absolutely loved Bethany’s role in this story and despite the issues I had with Tease I am excited about her featured story – Promiscuous that is slated to drop in January.
If you are looking for a short and easy, hot and sexy read told in a male POV then this could be what you’re looking for.
