I thought that this was the last of these books come to find out that Lisa Renee Jones plans to continue the series which makes me very happy. I love this series and it has long since been added to my favorite lists for so many reasons. If you know me well I love dark romance and what made this one stand out for me is the writing. The author has an impressive way with words – the descriptions of every situation and emotion leaves me spellbound.

I thought that Revealing Us was just as amazing as Being Me (that review can be found HERE). What I loved about it was that finally I got to see how both Chris and Sara are finally able to commit to their relationship. She gives in to his demands and relocates to a whole different country for him and in return he finally opens up fully to her -no more lies, no more secrets. He becomes an open book which I have been waiting on from the very beginning. I knew that his past was crazy extreme but never to that extend.

“I am home. I’m home because I’m with him. And I kiss him as if I will never kiss him again, as if I’m dying of thirst and he is all that can quench me.”

Despite their love for each other not everything is smooth sailing. Sara is tested multiple times along the way. His past literally just keeps knocking at his door. Sara is patient and forgiving and even becomes surprisingly accepting up to the point where she is manipulated in the worst possible way. She means well but at times she may have been too trusting to the extent of putting her life was at risk.

There was so much going on with Sara while she was in Paris yet she still was able to allot some time to seek out her friend Ella which I found most admirable. I thought the way the author was able to intertwine their stories was remarkable and I applaud her for her creativity and ingenuity in setting up Ella’s story for a spin-off series.

As always I found that the chemistry and the passion between our main couple exquisite. The anticipation of finding out Chris’ secrets, the romantic thrills and of course the countless suspenseful situations kept me enraptured through the entire book. For me it was perfection and I can’t wait to see what Lisa Renee Jones has in store for us next.
