Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.
An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.
With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.
Liezel’s Thoughts:
From the very beginning, this series made a very good impression. It isn’t just a typical romance but it was so much more. As much as it was erotic, it was thrilling and suspenseful too. The astounding twists and turns in the entire series made it stand out for me.
I admit that I always thought that Cash was friggin’ amazing but after reading Everything For Us, I think Nash would give Cash a run for his money. For years he lives a hard life, doing the unthinkable just to survive. Regret and guilt mold him into this bitter and angry man. He brings a whole new meaning to the description “bad boy”.
And then there’s Marissa. She was this conniving “B” that I loved to hate in the first two books. After a life threatening incidence, she does a whole 360. She has come to the realization that the life she leads has always been a lie and seeks to rectify the situation. She wants the life that her cousin Olivia leads – a life of bliss and eternal happiness.
“Blaze your own trail in life. Make your own choices and make your own mistakes. It’s the only way you’ll find your own happiness, not someone else’s.”
She knows that Nash is the one that can provide that for her but because of his past he is adamant that such a life isn’t meant for him. Can she convince him otherwise?
I have to say that the chemistry and passion between these two are simply amazing. There were some scenes that made me a tad squeamish but the end result is still ridiculously hot. I did think that they complimented each other well and in so many ways they made a perfect pair. This story wasn’t only about that, though…
Everything For Us is also a story about fighting for what you believed in no matter what the risks and consequences are. It also had a strong emphasis on forgiveness and acceptance and how big of a role family influences us in life. Most importantly, it was about second chances and if you one was willing and sincere enough – they definitely can change for the better and that to me was what made it this one extraordinary.
